OUR HISTORY
Established in 1988 by Neil Roup, GIB has grown into a well-trusted and well-established insurance brokerage. Neil had grown a very stable client base over 34 years and had built a strong reputation among clients and insurance companies alike. Thanks to Neil, GIB has a strong standing within the insurance industry in Cape Town.
Neil has since passed away but his legacy lives on in the form of GIB. Now taken over by his wife, Avril, GIB continues to offer clients world class service and continues to uphold our strong reputation within the insurance industry in Cape Town. Under Avril’s leadership, the future remains exciting for GIB and our determination to continue offering the excellent service that was started by Neil remains unwavering.
In 2023, GIB entered into a new partnership with Fairbairn Consult (Pty) Ltd, a renowned financial services provider in South Africa.
